Privacy policy

Who is responsible for your data

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the publisher named in the legal notice. For any question about your data, write to the email address given there.

What this site does, and what it doesn't

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. It loads no content from other sites: the fonts are hosted on the site itself.

The only data processed is what is needed to display the site (server logs) and what you enter in the waitlist form.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States). On every visit, the server automatically records technical information: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system. It is used only to display the site and protect it against abuse.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and a data processing agreement is in place.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and, if you provide them, your country of residence, your gender and how you heard about Yaamo. We also store the page language, the date of your consent and the address of the sign-up page.

We use this data to tell you when the app launches and to give you the 3 months of premium promised to people on the waitlist. The optional fields help us prepare the launch (countries, balance between women and men, channels that work).

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form. You can withdraw it at any time, for example by replying to one of our emails or by writing to the address in the legal notice.

The data is stored with Supabase, in a data centre located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), under a data processing agreement.

We delete your data as soon as you withdraw your consent, and at the latest 12 months after the app launches.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to processing and receive your data in a common format (Articles 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular the one in your country of residence or the one where the publisher is established (for Baden-Württemberg: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).

Updates

This privacy policy dates from October 2026. It will be updated if the site changes.
